Regulating the area’s inhabitants’ access to the garden to exercise in selected areas and times, as described in the terms and conditions ensures safety and security — not only of the people, but also of the assets, the property and the area. Our goal is to combine contemplation practices, learning, wellness and leisure while promoting a healthy lifestyle by creating space for people to exercise regularly.
COVERAGE
Members who are enrolled in monthly, yearly or quarterly plans.
PASSPORTS’ MAIN RULES
- All members must have their fingerprints registered to be able to access the Garden;
- Pedestrian access is through the main entrance (Gate 1);
- Vehicle access through Gate 2 – Management Office is only for preauthorized cars, for those who have mobility restrictions and have gotten previous authorization from Reserva Parques;
- Members must respect blocked areas on event setting-up and breaking-down days;
- Members are not allowed in any restricted areas and should respect all signage and any instructions by Garden staff;
- Members must respect the access times (6 AM – 8h45 AM, latest exit by 9 AM);
- Any member that does not comply with the time for three times will have their passport canceled;
- Members who received a payment exemption and do not utilize the passport within 30 continuous days (unless with a doctor’s notice) will have their passport canceled;
- Members are not allowed to sell any merchandise, goods or services without previous authorization by Reserva Parques;
- Members are allowed to organize group activities, as long as previously authorized and considering the practice does not disturb other members or the animals.
EXEMPTION POLICY
- Kids under 4 years and 11 months old showing official identification;
- People with disabilities with one of the following documents:
(i) Record on the Programa de Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC);
(ii) Signed doctor’s note indicating long-term or permanent disability;
(iii) Public Transport card that indicates disability and/or
(iv) Documents attesting care at rehabilitation centers or specialized units;
- People of or over 60 years of age with household income under the minimum wage, and subject to document analysis.
HALF-PRICE TICKETS
- Kids between 5-14 years old, with official ID.
- Senior citizens, 60 or 60+ years old, with official ID.
- Students with current student ID — Carteira de Identificação Estudantil – CIE, according to Decree 8.537/15 and Law Lei 12.933/15.
- The CIE is issued by:
(i) Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduandos (ANPG),
(ii) União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE),
(iii) União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas (Ubes),
(iv) by city and state institutions connect to those,
(v) by Student Body Centers (DCEs) and
(vi) by Academic Centers, to be renewed yearly, according to the national model made available by the Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia da Informação (ITI), with its digital certificate, and not displaying more than 50% of local characteristics. The student ID must show: (i) the student’s full name and date of birth, (ii) a recent photograph, (iii) the school or university name, (iv) the student’s current grade, and (v) the expiration date that should be March 31st of the following year.
***By the decision of the Brazilian Supreme Court on ADI 5108, student IDs issued by the student’s school or university will be temporarily accepted as long as accompanied by a paid tuition invoice and/or other current document that proves enrollment.
- Young adults between 15-29 with the Identidade Jovem – ID Jovem, according to law nº 12.933/2013.
- All public school faculty from São Paulo, with ID from the Education Ministry or paystub proving employment
- Retired citizens with proof of retirement
- Disability guest’s companions
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND VISITATION
Allowed:
- Contemplation, recreational and educational activities among nature, with the ultimate goal to understand the responsibilities and respect we have towards our environment;
- To take part in sports activities such as walking, running, and stretching, available between the hours of 6-9 AM to previously registered visitors;
- To have picnics and small gatherings with parties of up to 20 people. Tables and chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be previously reserved. Guests are not allowed to bring tables, chairs, or any decorations into the parks.
- To take photos and make videos of your visit to remember the experience.
Not allowed:
- Guests wearing bathing suits or shirtless;
- Cars and any vehicles within the park, except maintenance;
- Unaccompanied children under 12 years of age;
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, and any other of its kind;
- Balls, balloons, helium balloons, kites, shuttlecocks, frisbees, drones, fireworks, sound equipment, musical instruments;
- Plants of any kind, native or exotic, or to plan any seedlings within the area;
- Animals, except service animals properly identified and with documentation;
- To climb any structure such as fences, monuments, benches, gates, etc.; or to use them as support in a matter that might cause damage;
- To write, spray paint or put up any type of materials such as stickers, banners, flyers, etc., on trees, plants, signage, buildings, walls, benches, bridges, water fountains, statues, and other construction and equipment within the park;
- To remove, damage, or pick any flowers, leaves, fruits, seeds, or sticks from the ground or directly from trees and/or plants;
- To feed, capture, mistreat, torture, or kill any animal, as well as to damage their nests, shelters, and natural breeding spaces;
- To climb trees;
- To hang hammocks, swings, ropes, or any objects on trees;
- To remove or damage any plant signage;
- To bring food and drinks inside the buildings (greenhouses, museum, and restaurant), as well as on trekking trails;
- To smoke inside the buildings (greenhouses, museum, and restaurant);
- Barbecue grills, charcoal barbeque grills, torches, portable stoves, and any other equipment that may cause fires;
- Excessive noise that might disturb the animals and other visitors;
- To litter;
- To dispose of garbage in the lakes;
- Swimming in the lakes;
- Any religious gathering or rituals, such as lighting candles, burning incense, offerings, or disposing of ashes.
- To sell any service or product, unless previously authorized by the park.
